Privacy Policy

Our Core Privacy Commitment: UPIfree never collects, transmits, or stores UPI PINs, bank passwords, one-time passwords (OTPs), card numbers, or CVVs. All calculation operations are anonymous by default.

1. Client-Side QR Code Processing

When you inspect an image in the UPI QR Analyzer, the image is decoded locally within your device's browser memory via HTML5 Canvas. The image is never transmitted across the network or stored on our servers.

2. Anonymous Calculations

Calculations run anonymously in your browser session. When you click “Generate Shareable Link”, only the non-sensitive parameters (amount, payment type, matched rule) are hashed into an anonymized, signed snapshot token so recipients can view the historical basis.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser LocalStorage strictly to keep your recent calculations and preferences available on your device. We do not use third-party invasive cross-site tracking cookies.
